Triple ISO's awarded to Servaccomm Redhall Ltd

Modular buildings manufacturer Servaccomm Redhall Ltd of Ottringham, East Yorkshire has recently been awarded registration to both ISO 14001 for its environmental management system and BS OHSAS 18001 for its occupational health and safety management system by the UKAS accredited certification body “ISOQAR” and these awards are in addition to the Company’s previous registration to ISO 9001 that was gained in 2007. All three improvement projects have been supported by the BERR Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) Yorkshire and Humber via the provision of consultancy advice and training.
Servaccomm Redhall Ltd was established in 1999 to design, manufacture and install all types of prefabricated buildings, modular buildings, volumetric systems and portable accommodation. The company was formed as a result of the merger of Redhall Systems Ltd, who were essentially the manufacturing operation and their client Servaccomm Systems Ltd, based in St Neots, who designed, marketed and sold the products.
In the beginning, Servaccomm Redhall’s main focus was on the manufacture of prefabricated buildings and modular buildings for the construction industry but had a desire widen its client and product base. In 2003 they acquired Marchant Walker Ltd who were based in Scunthorpe and specialised in the design and manufacture of bespoke modular buildings to wider and more diverse sections of industry. This immediately increased the turnover and profitability of the group in addition to broadening the product base. Following this merger the new company was re structured with Ottringham becoming the base for all its operations.
Since 2003 significant investment has been made to its 6 acre site at Ottringham which has transformed the companies operation with improvements to the manufacturing facility, offices and equipment. In addition there have also been significant changes made to the management structure with a greater focus on strengthening its technical capability and customer service, whilst at the same time widening its product range, improving its profitability through more efficient practices whilst maintaining a high level of health and safety for its employees and minimising its environmental impact. This newly combined level of expertise has allowed the Company to become a market leader in the design and manufacture of any form of prefabricated or modular buildings offering single and multi storey options in its range.
The Company manufactures its products for clients across the whole spectrum of commerce and industry such as modular office buildings, office complexes for the energy production sector, accommodation and operating theatres for the NHS, prefabricated office and welfare facilities for the construction industry, for home builders’ bespoke modular marketing suites, for schools and classrooms, and for crèches and day nurseries.
