Delivery & Installation
At Servaccomm, we have all the resources available to arrange for the modular building to be delivered and installed on site as part of the overall project objectives. Our contracts and site services team will arrange for your delivery to take place at a time convenient with local traffic and site considerations.
Delivery and Cranage
Transportation of the prefabricated buildings to the delivery site will be arranged by us in liaison with our clients. Cranage to offload and position the units onto the foundations will also be arranged by Servaccomm in co-ordination with the arrival of transport.
Our modular buildings are generally delivered by articulated vehicles. Access to site is required to accept these wagons along with the mobile crane to offload the buildings. Crane arm wagons will be used for delivery of smaller portable accommodation.
Please note that mobile cranes are very heavy vehicles and ground disturbance may occur when the modules are off-loaded on site.
Site Foundations and Services
Modular buildings require level load bearing foundations and services installed prior to delivery and erection of the modules on site. We offer a full turnkey package and will provide a quotation for this service or, alternatively, a foundation and services plan can be supplied upon placement of your order for you to organise this part of the project yourself.
Installation and Completion
Once the building has been placed on foundations, the final fit-out of the prefabricated building will commence with completion dependant on a number of factors.
Some of these elements are the external claddings, roof style, glazing options, and internally, lighting and electrical connections, data installation, walls and ceiling finishes, floor coverings, type of heating, plumbing and sanitary ware.
Connection of mains services, pathways, steps, ramps may also be part of our package and finalised on site.
Our programme will detail the timescales that we will be on site to finish the building and all on site works including the hand over to you upon completion, ready for occupation.
