Beal High School Sixth Form Centre by Servaccomm Modular Buildings

In the early months of 2010 Servaccomm were asked to attend a meeting with several other Modular Building Companies as a substantial requirement had surfaced for a newly manufactured Sixth form Centre at The Beal High School, a School under the Council’s control.

The Council then compiled a short list of Companies and the scheme was competitively tendered. The Servaccomm team worked in conjunction with a number of key personnel at the local authority and school personnel  to ensure we not only offered the specification required but we also used our experience in the education sector to offer a high degree of value engineering to ensure the client received value for money without compromising on the overall quality of the building.

Our experience of providing Councils and Local education Authorities across the United Kingdom with modular accommodation in the education sector gave us a competitive edge over of competitors.

The full turnkey package included for :-

• The design, manufacture and installation of a Two Storey Modular Sixth Form Centre
• The installation of foundations
• All groundwork's
• The installation and connection of services
• Pathways
• Steps, ramps and landings.

The contract was awarded to Servaccomm in May 2010 and our groundwork's commenced on site in June. The building was delivered to site and installed onto the previously prepared foundations in two days with completion and hand over to the school on time, on budget and, in readiness for the new academic year in September. We worked closely with all parties to ensure the Programme of Works offered kept disruption to the School down to a minimum.

The new Sixth Form Centre is now used by over one hundred students. The accommodation provided is both modern and spacious providing the perfect learning environment.
